In May 2005, Fire Fighters from the Essex Fire Authority cycled from Land’s End to John O’Groats to raise money for the Burned Children’s Club and the Fire Service Benevolent Fund. The did the journey in relays and covered the distance in under 52 hours. Andy (back row, right) was sponsored £774.45 by the Black Horse regulars.
